Friday morning May 11th Teena started having contractions. She kept her scheduled Chiropractor’s adjustment for 9:45 am. Shortly thereafter around 10:30 her water broke. Julie from SNOW DOULA arrived and her husband Dennis was called home from work! Her midwife Joy from CHEAM MIDWIFERY was put on call as well. Fast forward to approximately 3:25am. Teena was beginning to get into the pushing mindset  & after hours labouring @ home fully expecting to deliver there… Joy saw that there was meconium in the remaining fluid &  informed Dennis & Teena that we would be all be transferring to the hospital. 3:50am we arrived & the pediatrician had been called, as well as Dr. Smith. Things  @ this point happened very fast!  With the additional help of the forceps, Lily Coral Marie Richardson was born @ exactly 4:30am, on May 12, 2012. She Weighed in @ 7lbs 9.9oz. Despite the unexpected twist …Teena you were beyond amazing & I still can’t believe you never took anything for pain, not even an asprin! Dennis you were an outstanding & consistant support for your wife thought the entire Labour & Delivery. I can’t wait to see you again on Friday for Miss Lily’s Newborn session!

Here is my sweet neice just after her half Birthday! She weighed in at 17lbs 1oz. at her six months appointment & was 26.125″ long.  She is such a smiley little girl & we all love her so much!  I was beyond excited when they decided to come all the way out from Whitecourt, Alberta for Mothers Day! Sweet girl, you make your Mommy & Daddy very happy.

Miss Kayla Rae! What can I say about Kayla… she’s kind, smart & naturally gorgeous both inside and out. Kayla, it was a pleasure watching you grow up over the years. I know that you are going to go far in life. I had a hard time narrowing these photos down, I stayed up LATE last night getting them ready..
